Privacy policy

01

In short

İlim Kervanı has no accounts, no server of our own and no analytics tool; no personal data is sent to us. Your progress is stored on your phone. The app is free and contains ads: Google AdMob shows them, and Google processes some data to do so. Purchases are made through Apple and Google Play.

02

What stays on your phone

Lives, level progress, XP, statistics and badges; the IDs of questions you have seen or answered wrongly; daily challenge and streak records; your Quick game record; ad counters; your purchase entitlements; your language, sound, vibration and notification preferences. All of this stays only on your phone, is not sent to us and is deleted when you delete the app. There is no cloud sync.

03

Ads and Google

Google AdMob shows the ads. When an ad loads, the app goes online and Google receives the app's name, an advertising identifier and your IP address; it may estimate your general location from the IP address. Google uses this data to deliver ads, measure their effectiveness, protect against fraud and abuse, and improve its services. Whether ads are personalized depends on your Google settings and, where shown, your choice in the consent form. See Google's page for details.

Users in the European Union and the United Kingdom are shown Google's consent form. On iOS, the app does not ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). You can manage ad personalization in Google Ad Settings, and reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Rewarded ads are optional. If you buy Ad-free or Premium, full-screen ads are turned off.

04

Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple and Google Play; your payment details never reach the app. Your entitlements are checked with the store at launch and when you restore purchases. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies apply to these transactions.

05

Notifications

Notifications are scheduled on your phone; there is no notification server. There are three types: the daily reminder (20:00 by default), streak at risk (22:00) and lives full. Permission is requested after your first game, and you can turn each one off in the app's Settings screen. On Android, a system permission is used to set reminders again after the phone restarts.

06

Permissions

İlim Kervanı does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos. On Android it uses permissions for internet and network state, the advertising ID and system ad services, store billing, notifications, starting at boot and vibration. The packages the app uses also add the wake lock and foreground service permissions.

07

Children

İlim Kervanı is made for ages 13 and up; it is not directed at children under 13.
